Lotus Temple Travel Guide

Guide Series on New Delhi.  we will show you the Lotus Temple We will share how to get there by DelhiMetro Railway and what do you see once you arrive.  The Lotus Temple Complex is aBahai Temple completed in the shape of its namesake the Lotus and is set in atwenty six acre park like setting.  To get to the Lotus Temple by Delhi MetroRailway, take the Violet line also known as the Heritage line to Kalkaji Mandir Station, after exiting the station you can take a rickshaw or a cab or youcan also walk. The Lotus Temple is about 1.2 kilometres from the station, if youchoose to walk- follow the signs and walk on Lotus Temple Road Winter hours for the Lotus Temple are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the last entry is at 5:00 p.m. during summer hours they are from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the last entry at 6:30p.m. Entrance to the temple is free.   Before entering the complex, there is a security check.
